COMPANY HISTORY
Panel Barn Lumber was originally established in 1973 by Dave Schneider as a family lumber supplier for local builders. Since then the company has moved away from lumber sales, concentrating its efforts on truss manufacturing and engineered product distribution. Over the years Panel Barn Lumber has grown into a leader in the manufacturing of roof and floor trusses throughout the Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana region. In early 2006 the company was purchased by a local lumber company and the company name was changed. After approximately eighteen months of ownership by this company, the truss operation was re-acquired by the Schneider Family and the name was changed to Panel Barn Inc. From this point forward Panel Barn Inc. went in a new direction by becoming a full service lumber yard.

Throughout the re-acquisition of Panel Barn Inc., certain key employees were kept in place and new knowledgeable veteran employees were added. This was done in an effort to once again bring you a well designed, quality built product at an affordable price delivered to the job site on time. Our commitment to our customers is surpassed only by our knowledge of the industry. At Panel Barn Inc. each truss designer works directly with the salesman and their customer to help guide the project from estimating thru completion. Over the years we have found that this process creates the most knowledgeable, hands-on staff available. Our sales force has over 175 years of combined experience in the construction industry helping our company to not only be a leader but also extremely competitive in this ever changing market.
